Due to improvements in cancer therapy, the overall 5-year survival rate for childhood cancer has increased from
45% in 1970 to over 80% today.
Cancer SurvivorLinkTM is a website for cancer survivors to LEARN about cancer survivorship, STORE important health documents and SHARE those documents with their healthcare providers. It is a place that pediatric cancer survivors can have all of their providers "on the same page" to help facilitate coordinated comprehensive care.
SurvivorLink is led by the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology and HIMformatics.
